Provide First Class Follow UP for your Growing Patients

You Must Follow Closely Your Growing Patients

Dr. Michel Champagne, BA, DMD, MAGD, IBO, CDE, Fellow of the Quebec Dental Academy

Lack of proper evaluation of your patients may be considered as neglect. In the present case, why did the doctor wait.

Figure 1. Waiting too long often makes the treatment much more complex.

At the age of 9, it is critical to evaluate the position of the permanent cuspids. All cases are not treated the same way but often regaining space in the transverse dimension, even if no crossfire is present, will be beneficial to the case.

Figure 2. Space gain to facilitate the eruption of the permanent cuspids.

Avoid neglect and follow closely your growing patients.
